Weeds of the Season

With all the new growth, rain, sun and fair weather of spring, brings lots of plants. Every year I start off on a quest to try to identify what plants are what, so as not to throw away perfectly edible plants. This year, I will try to id and catalog all the plants that have grown on our land.

Today I spent 8 hours weeding, mulching, edging, pruning etc. etc. It was awesome. I'm super sore too. But...here are the weeds (food) most prevalent in our yard and beds this spring.
