She Cherishes the Rain
That little girl reminds me to be thankful for the rainy days too. A unique adventure AWAITS and AWAKES us if we let it.
So let's go outside the next time it rains, or snows, or blows, and feel all that weather on our skin like it's the first time, or our last.
I'm so glad she cherishes the rain.

Garden Day
Here we are. Checking out our garden plots for the springtime. Speaking of mulch, pathways, crops. Beautiful day with lots of sun!

Springtime and New Beginnings
Yesterday I heard the Mourning Dove. Today I notice little buds on the tree outside our bedroom window. We will be full-term pregnant (37 weeks) in 3 days! Life begins anew. Now.
I get inspired by Beginning. Doing. Creating. Finishing. And beauty. Last night was so inspiring. We got to sign up for our community garden plots. More than that, we saw a friend unexpectedly and also met a community of beautiful people. After filling out paperwork and picking out some seeds from the share, we drove home under a full, bright moon.
No longer does it feel like bundle-yourself-to-pieces vibes outside. It's really beginning! Our first spring season here in Sunbury. So many beautiful people. This blog is also coming out of hibernation. This year is going to be like none other. We will share our lifestyle, inspirations, despairs and eventful happenings here. Stay tuned.
Love you all!

October and November
The next week we did a lot of tree pruning and removals and general work. Then we headed out of town to Vermont. We drove all night 10 1/2 hours to Huntington, VT, arrived at 7:30 AM, ate some breakfast and worked all day on an earthship. If you haven't heard of earthships, you can watch the documentary "Garbage Warrior" or just type earthship into youtube. Our new friends on the earthship crew spent the next 3 weeks with us up in Vermont working, discovering the area's inspiring businesses and having memorable experiences! We will be posting a lot of pictures soon.
After an 11 1/2 hour drive back *inclement weather*, we hauled a 17-foot-long trailer to Sunbury, PA where we now spend days and nights working on renovation of a house in town there. The weather is turning colder and the camper is not as weatherproof and temperature stable as the earthship was. The good news is, our homemade compost toilet (thanks bro ty!) is now on site.
